Volunteer Workday: Fantasy Garden

About this event

Join Fantasy Garden, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and NYC Parks GreenThumb for a hands-on volunteer day cleaning up the garden, rebuilding raised beds (no power tools needed), and planting fall natives! Volunteers will learn basic garden design and planting from seasoned gardeners. We'll provide all the tools, training, and guidance to ensure a productive and safe volunteer day! Please wear sturdy work shoes and weather-appropriate clothing and bring water and snacks. Note some tasks will involve lifting heavy materials and extended periods of bending, squatting, and moving.
